Hybrid solar
Save by day. Stay on at night. Hybrid solar cuts your bill and keeps your essentials (fans, lights, internet) running through load-shedding on stored power. Most Karachi homes pick this one.
Expertly installed by one team
- Battery-ready hybrid inverter
- Switches over the moment the grid drops
- Your essentials — fans, lights, internet — stay on in load-shedding
- Add storage now or later, no rewiring
What is hybrid solar?
Hybrid solar joins rooftop panels with a battery-ready inverter and storage. By day it powers your home and cuts your bill. When the grid drops, it switches over in a flash. Your fans, lights and internet stay on. They run on stored solar. It is the balance most Karachi homes choose. You get real daytime savings and solid backup through load-shedding.
Why hybrid works for Karachi homes
Backup when it matters
Your essentials stay on through load-shedding — fans, lights and internet.
Savings by day
Cut your bill with day-time solar. The grid stays as a quiet backup.
Battery-ready
Add storage now or later, no rewiring. Start hybrid. Grow into full backup.
Built for Karachi load-shedding
When the grid drops, your system switches over in a flash. It keeps you running on stored solar. No generator. No fumes. No noise.

Good to know
What is the difference between hybrid and on-grid solar?
Both cut your day-time bill. The difference is backup. An on-grid system shuts off during load-shedding. A hybrid system has a battery-ready inverter that switches to stored solar in milliseconds, so your essentials — fans, lights, internet and routers — stay on through the outage. For Karachi's load-shedding, most homes choose hybrid.
Can a hybrid system run my air conditioner during load-shedding?
It can, if it is sized for it. A 1.5-ton inverter AC needs roughly 1.2 to 1.5 kW to run, plus a brief startup surge. We match the inverter capacity and battery size to the appliances you want backed up. Tell us at the survey which circuits must stay on, such as ACs, fridge and fans, and we size the system to carry them.
How long will the battery keep my home running?
It depends on the battery size and what you are running. A common home setup backs up essential circuits for several hours of a typical evening outage, then recharges from your own solar the next day. We size storage to your night-time use so you are not left short during the longest load-shedding slots. You will see the expected backup hours in your quote.
What kind of batteries do you use, and how long do they last?
Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, the safest and longest-lasting chemistry for Karachi's heat. Good lithium batteries are rated for thousands of charge cycles, typically 8 to 12 years or more of real-world use, with no maintenance or topping up. We use Tier-1 storage, with the warranty term listed in your quote.
Is a hybrid system worth the extra cost over on-grid?
For most Karachi homes, yes. The extra cost over on-grid buys you backup through load-shedding and lets you keep the value of your own power instead of exporting it at the new low net-billing rate of about Rs 11 per unit. With generator and UPS running costs removed, most homes reach payback in 3 to 5 years. We give you a fixed, itemised quote after a free survey so you can weigh it for your own roof.
Can I start hybrid now and add more battery later?
Yes. A battery-ready hybrid inverter lets you add lithium packs over time with no rewiring. Many homeowners start with enough storage for essentials and expand as their needs or budget grow. We design the system so that is a simple add-on, not a rebuild.
